Nevada Vintage Race Car Museum
The Nevada Vintage Race Car Museum is dedicated to the late Joe Lencki, and his love for keeping vintage race cars and priceless motor sports memorabilia available for future enthusiast to enjoy. Ed Rachanski has dedicated a great part of his life to restoring the vintage cars to near perfection and displaying an incredible part of motor sports history called, Indianapolis.
The Museum boasts a collection of Race Cars from the turn of the century, to the current Indy Racing League series Race Cars. Mr. Rachanski was owner of Team Blue Print, an Indy Racing League team with the likes of drivers as Jimmy Kite, Sam Schmidt and Johnny Parsons Jr.just to name a few. Two of the Indy Racing League cars are in the museum on display, along with the Aurora V8 engines that powered the Race Cars.
Also on display are model aircraft, depicting several different eras of aeronautical history. Ed Rachanski Sr. was a Flight Engineer on the C - 119 flying Boxcars during the Korean era. There is a display case encapsulating some of his actual gear and survival equipment, used during his Honorable term in the United States military.
